Christmas Shopping Guide
It's that time of year again, time to get your Christmas shopping organised!
If you want to buy a hamper for your loved one this Christmas you can choose from our great selection of hampers, or you can even design your own hamper!
Should you want to add anything extra to the hampers, just add that item to cart along with your order and they shall be included.
HOW TO ORDER
Our website is designed so it's simple and easy to purchase goods for yourself or as gifts for others.
Simply browse our site and add any items you want to purchase to your shopping cart by clicking on the 'Add to Cart' icon. All our items are sorted by category. Simply click on the relevant category to take you to that section.
Once you are finished browsing our website simply click on the 'My Shopping Cart' icon at the top of the screen.
Here you can review your order and you have the option to change the quantities of the items you have chosen at this point, if you would like to increase or decrease your order.
Once you have confirmed your order, you can proceed to the checkout. You'll be given the option to create a customer account, log in to your account or shop as a guest.
It is very important that you complete the check out page with care before you confirm and pay for your order.
Billing Details - these are your own details, if shopping from Ireland, choose Ireland as your Country and just put 0 in the postcode field. It's important that you provide your email address at this stage, as we will send you a confirmation of your order (with all billing, shipping, product and special instruction details) and you will also receive an email from us letting you know when the order has been dispatched, and details of how to track your order online.
Shipping Details - If you are purchasing a gift to be delivered to a different address, please untick the box ''I also want to ship to this address.'' It's very important to have the correct address and a contact number for the recipient. Please note that it is our policy to call the recipients of gifts to let them know a delivery is on its way (we will not ruin the surprise of your Tasty gift but we do need to confirm that the recipient will be available to accept their delivery). Incorrect contact details such as phone number or address will lead to extended delays.
You can also add a gift note at this stage. Even if you have not chosen to add your items to a gift hamper, we will include a personalized hand written gift card free of charge. Don't forget say who the gift is from, whatever you write in the gift message box we put in the gift card!!
If you are ordering for Christmas, we are offering you the option in the check out page to choose what week your order will be dispatched;
If your gift is for Christmas, please select one of these options. However please note that Australia stretches over a huge space of land, please take into consideration the delivery times;
1-2 days Metro areas of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane
1-2 days Canberra
2-3 days Adelaide and Country Victoria and Country New South Wales, Gold Coast
5-7 days Perth CBD, Northern Queensland, Tasmania
7-10 days Remote areas of Western Australia and Queensland, Northen Territory, New Zealand
Payment Details - We don't charge any fees for paying by Paypal or Credit Card, we accept American Express, Visa and Mastercard. Irish Laser Cards are not accepted.
ORDER CUT OFF DATES
To ensure delivery in time for Christmas, order before these dates;
05th December Remote areas of Western Australia and Queensland, Northen Territory, New Zealand
16th December Perth CBD, Northern Queensland, Tasmania
16th December Adelaide and Victoria and Country New South Wales, Gold Coast
16th December Canberra
18th December Metro areas of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane (metro areas are considered CBD areas only - please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information)
Note: Any orders placed after these dates will be processed and dispatched by our warehouse accordingly, however we cannot guaranteed delivery before Christmas. While we will do everything in our power to process these goods in a timely manner, once the goods leave us they are in the trusted hands of our couriers.
By placing an order with Taste Ireland you are agreeing to the following Terms & Conditions. These have been set out to ensure smooth delivery and no disappointments, so everyone gets the gifts they want in time for Christmas.
IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING PERISHABLE ITEMS
Please note for orders containing meat, that delivery from mid November & all of December are strictly for Sydney Metropoliton areas only. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. This is due to the intense heat in Australia at that time, and to combat any delays which may be incurred at this busy period.
DELIVERY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- You must provide a contact number for the recipient and we will attempt to contact them to arrange delivery.
- If daytime delivery is not suitable it is strongly advised that you choose a work or alternative delivery address where somebody can accept the parcel.
- We cannot be held responsible for any parcels lost, damaged or spoiled after being left at the door as instructed.
- Specific delivery times or days cannot be guaranteed.
- Couriers will NOT call ahead to advise delivery.
- Delivery days Mon- Fri only - no weekend deliveries possible.
- Perishable items can only be dispatched Monday - Wednesday to the metropoliton area of Sydney only from mid November on & for the month of December. We are unable to offer delivery of perishable items in the week commencing 21st December.
- Please ensure that you have read and understood the best before or use by date on all products before ordering.
Our warehouse store will be open to the public as usual
Monday - Friday 9am-5pm, and Saturday 10am-3pm
