Snap, Cracker & Tayto...

Hello Boys and Girls,Come closer and warm yourselves in the loving glow of the computer screen, while I tell you a little story...
Once upon a Saturday in a land far away, top Tastey Eamon, the Tastey staff and some friends went on a little jaunt to the Botanical Gardens. For that day Boys and Girls, we were having our lovely pictures taken by a fantastic photographer called Mark. The reason? Why, we’re taking pictures for Irish newspapers to promote our Christmas hampers!
So in return for fame and notoriety, we all sat in for the snaps, pulling crackers, tucking into foodie treats and generally did a great job of representing our counties– aptly the set was in front of the Sydney Opera House.
Around us, people were getting ready for the Blackmores run, but we were taking it handy and enjoying the beautiful views and sunshine – Eamon cleverly made sure there were enough spare Taytos and Club Oranges to keep everyone’s energy up! While Mark took the photographs, shoot assistant Neala took everyone’s messages to friends and family back home, to be sent to their local newspapers at home in time for Christmas.
We all took bets on Cork and Kerry’s impending All-Ireland Finals, everyone learnt that Leitrim does in fact have a football team, a Northside Dublin girl and a Southside Dublin boy tried to work out if there was a north/south divide to Sydney and we found out we bucked the trend and only ONE person out of all of us lives in Bondi!
We looked like we were having such a great time that a group of Japanese tourists came over to have their picture taken with us – so kiddies we’re in demand, don’t ask for an autograph when we’re just trying to relax in the pub next week, we’re just normal people too... though maybe we’re above average in looks, schtyle and brains...
So a great time was had by all and we lived fairly happily ever after. Until we saw Brian McFadden on Australian Idol.
